I have finally received my Crafter's Companion Pro board and...it stands in a corner feeling sorry for itself. And that is because I have been crafting all evening using my recent buys...but let's start from the very beginning.
Mark and I went to Cheltenham for the weekend and it was really nice. It will probably be enough if I say we have visited 2 Hobbycrafts and several small craft shops which obviously made me think this was the best weekend ever. The reason why I'm so excited about visiting Hobbycrafts is that I don't have it anywhere near me and I also don't drive which makes it difficult to go any further that 5 mile radius.
So, back to the point - I bought a lot of DCWV and K&Company things, plenty of stamps, masses of paper, few punches, lots of tags, stickers and various other embellishments (and of course every single crafty magazine I could find).
I have also ordered few packs of ProMarkers and received them today. So with me being away all weekend you can understand why I'm still up and still crafting.
Now, here are the fruits of my hard labour ;) I have just finished filming tutorial for making the green card so watch out on YouTube!
What a week I was very naughty and spent a lot on my craft supplies. Here is what I bought and my humble opinion about each item:
Baby Love CD by Joanna Sheen
Love it. For some reason we didnt really agree with each other at the beginning but the more I explored these CDs the more I liked it. All images are really versatile and CD contains lots of matching backgrounds, inserts and tags. One of the best Baby CDs I have seen so far.

The Ring of Fairies by The Glitter Girls
Hmmm, so-so. I was very disappointed with the delivery time and lack of communication from the GG. I had to wait two weeks to get this CD in my hands and my two emails were left unanswered, I actually and to call to get an update on the delivery time. For the CD itself it is very limiting and lacks variety. Once you made one card that is it really...

Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch
Now that is an amazing product - really difficult to get your hands on it in UK, very expensive as well. I paid 24,99 and in the end bought it on eBay. Saying that I really think it was worth the price and I absolutely LOVE IT! Will surely buy some more Martha's punches!

That is it for today. No creative stuff unfortunately as I'm going through some creative block. I think I will manage to overcome it once I finish the frog card. More details will follow...
I have been crafting for few hours today and created two really nice cards, I'm so very proud of them! First one is featuring some vivid colours (so not like me! ;). I have seen the pixture of turquoise and green in one of the crafty magazine and thought it was a great idea. So here it is, my version of colour clash:
And one more creation, this time a new baby card. I love designing on acetate and will surely make more cards like this:
I have been making an acceptance card for the whole day today. I love it but it was really difficult to find a suitable theme! I know that cardmakers are applying wedding embellishments to their acceptance or regret cards but for some reason I don't really like that idea. so here we go, below my version of an acceptance card!
In other news I have finally bought a printer to explore the magic of computer crafting. I'm very tempted to buy the "Ring of Faires" CD by Glitter Girls. I have seen the demo recenlty and I think the designs are sooo lovely! If I decide to buy it I will surly post some cards made with the CD so watch this space!
It has been a very busy weekend and I spent it all in front of the monitor. I have finally added new galleries with old one still hanging around (not for long though!). I have a day off tomorrow so will change the shop and menus. I'm getting closer and closer to completing my little online space!
In other news I have got some fabulous peel offs and I love the Christmas tree design! Have a look at the picture below, I can't wait to start making Christmas cards! All the best :) Anna W.
After quite a few days of hard work with the latest floral cards and wedding invitations I have finally had time to clear up my studio which involved organising ribbons (what a pain!) filling my small "really useful boxes" and finding suitable storage for all the Prima flowers. So it is done.
Mark, my partner, keeps complaining that this room was "supposed to be our office" but in all honesty there is no space for PC tower, or his big printer or anything that does not belong to the world of papercraft. So the room is mine with my name tag on the door. Period.
Here is one of the pictures of one of the corners of “my creative space”:
